ZIAD IN GAZA
I keep walking, and see something that I never would have imagined
seeing, not even in these horrible days. After having tents in every
available land, people are setting their tents on the pavements. How
come a family would be able to sit, sleep and “live” in such a narrow
space with all the chaos around. How can they feel safe with people
actually walking all the time around, when anyone could easily enter the
tent? One tent had a piece of carton on it saying: “There are displaced
people inside. Please, do not try to peek or enter.”
