They may not show signs of age, but in October, Charlie Brown and the “Peanuts” gang will turn 65. To celebrate, KaBoom, the all-ages imprint of Boom Studios, is publishing “Peanuts: A Tribute to Charles M. Schulz,” a 112-page hardcover by a team of contributors, which will include new comic strips and short stories, pinups and recollections of the influence of Snoopy and of Schulz, who died in 2000.

Matt Gagnon, the editor in chief of Boom Studios, described the project as “a giant love letter from creators all over the world,” including Matt Groening, Patrick McDonnell (“Mutts”), Stan Sakai (“Usagi Yojimbo”), Megan Brennan (“Adventure Time”), Raina Telgemeier (“Smile”) and Jeff Lemire (“Sweet Tooth”).
