Mad Men’s Matthew Weiner Made His Cast and Crew Watch These Movies

 


In conjunction with the Mad Men exhibit at the Museum of the Moving Image, the series creator has revealed 10 movies that helped inform and inspire his Emmy-winning AMC drama. (The 10 films will be screened during a special viewing series.) Per the museum’s Web site, the following selections “had an important influence on the creation of Mad Men, movies that made a deep impression on him and were required viewing for people working on the show.”
